On 23 June 2022, a year ago on the night of Sant Joan, Autocares Serrano suffered a devastating fire at its headquarters in Palafolls that reduced eight coaches to ashes. It was a heartbreaking moment for the company and for all of us who are part of it. But we are here today to tell you a story of resilience and overcoming, because out of the ashes a phoenix has risen, reborn and stronger than ever before.
After this tragic loss, the company faced a challenge. But rather than be overcome by adversity, they decided to turn this tragedy into an opportunity for rebirth and growth. It was a long road full of challenges, with services to cover in our system and no coaches in our base. Eventually, we were able to get everything booked up and running, and successfully meet the needs of those we serve.
We have managed to rebuild and strengthen our fleet through hard work and determination. We now have new vehicles, less than a year old, that meet the highest standards of quality, safety and environmental sustainability.
But there’s more… we can say that the company has expanded its horizons and opened a new headquarters in Barcelona. This new headquarters gives us a strategic location to offer our Barcelona coach hire and luxury coach hire services.
The anniversary of that tragic fire is a reminder to us that while challenges may seem insurmountable, determination and resilience can always lead us to a brighter future.
